1) FiDi: UK expats Sean Muldoon of the Merchant Hotel bar in Belfast and Jack McGarry of the London Milk & Honey are set to open The Dead Rabbit very, very soon. Zagat hears that the opening date will be announced soon, while the bar's Facebook page said back in November that it would be opening "in the next few weeks." [POST-PLYWOOD]

2) Harlem: According to signage on the door spotted by Harlem + Bespoke, the opening of the neighborhood restaurant Barawine on Lenox at 120th Street has been pushed back to the Spring 2013. It's just speculation, but the delay?it was originally projected to open this winter?may be because of its proximity to a church, and the resulting liquor license difficulties. [PLYWOOD]
3) East Village: Signage for a place called the Village Joker has appeared at the space currently occupied by Burger Shop (and, before that, Michael Huynh's Bar Bao) on St. Marks Place. Per EV Grieve, there's currently no indication what Village Joker is, and the Burger Shop's signage is still there as well. [PLYWOOD]

4) Lower East Side: The owner of LES pizza counters Stanton Pizza and East Broadway Pizza has applied for permits with the DOB for the space at 151 Ludlow, which was most recently a couple of different retail outlets. As Bowery Boogie notes, this means that Ludlow Pizza is probably incoming soon. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

5) Clinton Hill: Coming in at the same address as the coming pizza shop at 940 Fulton Street is a new bar. Via Brownstoner, the bar will be called, ever-so-elegantly, Visions Bar and Lounge. [PLYWOOD]
