The Kittery, Cocina Economica, and More Open

1) Carroll Gardens: The latest cutesy seafood shack to open is on Smith Street, per Pardon Me For Asking. Called The Kittery, the restaurant serves up a menu by chef Joshua Moulton that includes lobster rolls, clam chowder, and fish and chips. It was in soft opening mode last weekend but has a full menu now. Status: Certified Open; 305 Smith St., 718- 643-3293.

2) Midtown East: A second location of the West Village sports bar The Windsor opens today in the Gansevoort Park Avenue Hotel. The food menu at the 1,600-square-foot bar includes shareable plates like sliders and tuna tartate plus entrées like fish and chips and a burger. Status: Opens Tonight; 420 Park Ave S, 212-206-1208.

3) Upper West Side: The owners of the dearly-departed Recipe have opened a Mexican restaurant called Cocina Economica in that space, per My Upper West. Currently only open for dinner with straight-forward Mexican fare. Status: Certified Open; 452 Amsterdam, 212-501-7775.

4) East Village: And in yet more clam shack news, the Drunken Clam opens tonight below the tofu house and karaoke bar at 6 St Marks Place. Per EV Grieve, it's a clam-and-beer bar with raw and steamed clams as well as a hot dog, fried seafood, kimchi, and other seemingly-randomly collected menu items.
