At last night's CB1 Tribeca meeting, Marc Forgione's Laotian restaurant Kio, coming to the Duane Park space, got the stamp of approval. The menu, by Soulayphet Schwader, will be meat-heavy with more shared plates and a lower price point than Marc Forgione. And in other Tribeca news, a vegetarian restaurant called Pantéa is taking over the White & Church space. [Tribeca Citizen]
