2012_12_zebulon.jpgZebulon owner Joce Soubiran says it wasn't bad business that led he and his partners to close down their 10-year-old performance space, it was their new neighbors. Soubiran notes that the club was hit with seven tickets on Halloween for noise issues this year, and they didn't feel like going through the hassle of increasing the soundproofing to pacify the neighbors because that is not the point. They may look to reopen in Bushwick away from the Williamsburg squares, but for now, they will be taking a break. [BP]
