Brooklyn Crab Wire

2012_12_brooklyncrabQL.pngThe six-month-old Brooklyn Crab in Red Hook is built to look like a crab shack, but apparently the design is as much about function as it is about form. Built on 10-foot stilts and designed to withstand 130 mile-per-hour winds, the restaurant made it through Hurricane Sandy almost complete unscathed despite being just 100 feet from the water.
