Atera to Open 12-Seat Downstairs Lounge Tonight

The tiny downstairs bar at Matthew Lightner's two-Michelin-starred restaurant Atera?formally know as the Lounge at Atera?opens tonight. The 12-seat bar will be open from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Because it's so small, reservation are required?they can be made by email?and while the full menu is yet to come, the bar will definitely have eight or nine different cocktails plus bar snacks by Lightner.

Paloma: tequila, mescal float, grapefruit, lime, geranium, white cardomom, anise, clove

Eden: gin, vodka, Pineau des Charentes, honey, sorrel, marigold, elderflower, anise

Sour Sumac: pisco, sumac, lemon

Winter Walnut: rye,navy strength rum, walnut liqueur, honey, orange bitters
