Also of Note: The New Amsterdam Market is on for this weekend with some special guests: local microfinance borrowers, including El Poblano Farm, Morris Kitchen, Maupston, Raaka Chocolate. The Hester Street Fair's Holiday Market kicks off this weekend with food vendors like Cuzin's Duzins, Oaxaca Taqueria, and Bite Me Cheesecakes. Looking to try a new restaurant this weekend? Try Aska, the new project from Fredrik Berselius and Eamon Rockey, Morimoto's new American restaurant Tribeca Canvas, or pitmaster Daniel Delaney's new BrisketTown.
