2012_11_lucky%20dog.jpgWhile many of New York City's restaurants struggle to reopen after Hurricane Sandy, a huge chunk of the city's restaurant employees continue to go without pay. Service industry workers that were/are unable to work because their restaurant was damaged should consider applying for Disaster Unemployment Assistance. Those interested in finding out if they are eligible should call 1-888-209-8124. The application deadline is December 3. [Department of Labor]
