WASHINGTON D.C. —Eric Ripert is pulling out of his Washington D.C. restaurant, Westend Bistro by Eric Ripert in the Ritz Carlton. Riper tells the Washington Post, "I'm leaving the Ritz on great terms...We've met all the goals. I'm very proud of what we've done." Ripert says that he wants to focus his attention on Le Bernardin and also, maybe a new NYC project. [WaPo via Eater National]
