Scott Disick's Japanese Flop Ryu Is Now Closed

The lights are off and nobody's home at Ryu, the Meatpacking District Japanese restaurant that was opened by Fatty Crew VP of operations Jesse Camac and reality TV doofus Scott Disick. Both Disick and Camac bailed on the project a few weeks ago. Last month, the restaurant started selling cheesesteaks and waffle fries through a to-go window, which is never a good sign.

Ryu closed during Hurricane Sandy, but it has not reopened. It looks like the restaurant is down for the count — the website is dead, the OpenTable page is offline, and the Twitter accounts has been deleted. Ryu opened just five months ago.
