Change is in the air over at Danny Meyer's Union Square Cafe. The front area of the restaurant has lost its tablecloths and gained a communal table and a new family-style menu. As for the rest of the place, for the first time in 27 years, reservations will now be taken for parties of more than six. [NYT]
