Barbarini Alimentari in the South Street Seaport was hit especially hard by Hurricane Sandy. Owner Stefano Barbagallo says that his team won't be able to return to the space until six months from now, and the dining room sustained significant damage. Barbagallo also had to pay off outstanding bills after the storm. He tells the LA Times: "I would love to rebuild this place, but not with my money...Because I don't have any." [LA Times]
