Matt Abramcyk Applies for Liquor License for LES Venue

Tribeca empire builder Matt Abramcyk is looking to move eastward, eyeing a location on the Lower East Side. Bowery Boogie notices that Abramcyk's applied for a liquor license for a two-level bar and live music venue at 269 East Houston, most recently the location of the rock club Local 269. It's pretty light on details right now, but the owner of Super Linda and Smith & Mills (among other hotspots) is looking for a full liquor license and a 4 a.m. closing time nightly, with private events in a basement space.
