Things are still tough out in the Rockaways, though at least many in the area are getting relief food on a level significantly higher than the typical MREs. Along with restaurants and food trucks donating food, retired chef Urban Matthews has been making soup to help feed those without power, telling Gothamist: "If I didn't have this, I'd be cooped up all day waiting for the power to come back on.
