While many city restaurants (and grocery stores) are waiting to reopen, Governor Andrew Cuomo and the FEMA Team are coming to help. Cuomo announced today that the National Guard will start delivering around a million meals to hurricane-affected areas this afternoon. Distribution begins at 3 p.m. in Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn, and other parts of the city. [Gothamist]
