A Look Around the Very White Il Mulino Uptown

Last week, the owners of clubby Greenwich Village Italian restaurant Il Mulino opened their second Manhattan location in a space on East 60th Street between Madison and Park. Design firm Two Blocks East created a dining that has a more modern feel than the original, with plenty of bright lights and white surfaces. Although the restaurant hasn't released the menu yet, expect many of the classics from the Greenwich Village restaurant like the veal saltimbocca, plus a few new dishes. Il Mulino Uptown is now open for dinner, and lunch should start in a few weeks.
