Renovation Wire

2012_10_cafe_katja.jpgLower East Side Austrian restaurant Cafe Katja will reopen next week after a three-month renovation period. The formerly tiny restaurant broke into the next-door space, doubling its size to 52 seats. Much of old menu will still be available but the owners tell Grub Street that they plan to pay more attention to vegetarian options and that the larger kitchen will also allow them to make schnitzel.
