The owners of the TAO club/restaurants are suing a new family-owned establishment in Brunswick, Maine named Tao Restaurant, for "trademark dilution and infringement, unfair competition and cybersquatting." The owners of the Maine restaurant claim that their "Tao" has a different meaning and that few people will confuse the 40-seat restaurant on Pleasant Street with the 12,000-square-foot-club that once hosted a 1000-person party for P. Diddy. [Eater Maine]
