Fondue at Bourgeois Pig; Brunch at Brooklyn Central

CARROLL GARDENS ? According to an outgoing message at Lucali, the restaurant is closed for renovations. No word yet on when they will reopen yet, but in the meantime owner Mark Iocono's brother Chris owns a pizza spot in Park Slope called Giussepina's, if the Iocono-made pizza craving is simply too strong. PARK SLOPE ? Neapolitan pizza newcomer Brooklyn Central is launching brunch this weekend. The brunch menu will include a lot from the regular menu, plus a number of breakfast pies. Brunch runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. [EaterWire]

CARROLL GARDENS ? Ravi DeRossi's fondue bar The Bourgeois Pig has enlisted New Orleans-born chef Sother Teague to help the spot get back to its Southern roots with a new menu that includes items like Cajun cheddar fondue, a sazerac fondue, and red beans rarebit.
