Ryu Now Serving Waffle Fries, Giving Away Food

There have been some changes recently at Ryu, the new Meatpacking Japanese restaurant from reality TV star Scott Disick and Fatty Crew's Jesse Camac. In addition to shareable, barely-edible small plates, the restaurant now serves waffle fries and "Teriyaki cheesesteaks" from a side window. Also, earlier this week, the restaurant offered a free lunch for "MPD Fashionistas." This is foolish — models and designers don't eat food. They just drink diet coke and vodka, by the liter. But still, it's good that Ryu is thinking about filling that dining room.
