Brothers Eric and Bruce Bromberg, aka the guys behind the Blue Ribbon restaurants, are planning to open a fried chicken restaurant in the East Village. Flo Fab reports that the menu will of course focus on their ever-popular fried chicken, though it'll also include salads, a chicken sandwich, and housemade ice cream. The 65-seat space will be geared primarily towards quick service and takeout.
All of this confirms a rumor Eater floated back in January, though with an expected opening date of next spring, sounds like things are about a year behind.
