Deathwatched Bigoli Shutters, to Reopen as Sotto 13

The Deathwatched West Village restaurant Bigoli is no more. The phone line and OpenTable account are both still live, but there are no reservations available pretty much forever. And perhaps the biggest tell is the signage in the photo above. It now says Sotto 13 where it once read Bigoli.

An employee at the restaurant tells Eater that the restaurant is reopening in November with a total revamp of the concept and the interior. Sotto 13 will have the same owners and management as Bigoli, though there will be no involvement from Alex Stratta (who left the project back in March). According to that employee, the new restaurant will be Italian small plates with cocktails by "a great mixologist."
