Chumley's Probably Won't Return From the Dead in 2012

This really shouldn't come as a surprise, but it sounds like Chumley's will not be reopening any time this year. Although there were rumors that the bar would rise from its five year slumber this fall, Brooks of Sheffield hears from the owner that those reports were inaccurate. He would love to reopen by December 31, but that's a long shot. But at least the plywood has been removed, and now the space has the famous "86" written on its doors.
