Ivan Orkin and April Bloomfield Team up for $150 Meal

Ramen guru Ivan Orkin will take a break from prepping his hotly anticipated noodle shop this week to cook a five-course feast with The Spotted Pig's April Bloomfield. In an interview with Eater last month, Orkin explained that one of his ramen creations was partially inspired by Bloomfied's cooking. Of the pork and bacon dish, the chef remarked, "I told April Bloomfield that it's sort of my take on what a Spotted Pig ramen would taste like."

The dinner will include dishes that Orkin is working on for his new restaurant, plus cocktails and a pig-butchery demonstration by Bloomfield, for $150 a head. The meal, dubbed "April Bloomfield presents Ivan Orkin," will take place at Liberty Hall in the Ace Hotel, this Wednesday, October 17.
