Brooklyn Central, the new pizzeria by former Sottocasa pizzaiolos Matthew Hyland and Roberto Patriarca, opened at 289 Fifth Ave in Park Slope on Wednesday. The menu has starters like salads and roasted octopus and pizzas split into Old World and New World styles. Brooklyn Central is open for dinner every day but Tuesday. [EaterWire]
