1) Lower East Side: After getting a last minute reprieve, LES Australian restaurant Bondi Road finally shuttered last weekend. The restaurant was closing to make way for a new location of Calexico, but got an extra couple of weeks of life when Calexico's negotiations hit a "snag." [Facebook]
2) Upper West Side: The West Side Rag has its finger on the pulse of a couple of shutters up there: Hummus Place at 99th and Broadway is gone daddy gone, as is Recipe, the small restaurant at 81st and Amsterdam. Recipe is on its way to becoming a spot called Cocina Economica Mexico. [WSR]
3) Lower East Side: After going on sale last year because of "partner disagreements," the 10-year-old Spanish restaurant at 60 Clinton St., 1492, has officially shuttered. It remains to be seen who or what will take over that space. [Bowery Boogie]
