Yesterday, Steve Hanson opened the second New York location of his recently acquired steakhouse chain Strip House. The Midtown branch, which sits just two blocks north of Bryant Park on 44th Street, features a huge bi-level dining room and bar, with seating for over 200 people. The menu is nearly identical to the one served at the original location (a beet salad and a Kosher strip are the only additions), and the decor is similar too — lots of dark wood, red leather, and photos of old Burlesque dancers on the walls. Strip House Midtown is now open for dinner seven nights a week, and lunch will kick off at the end of the month. Take a look around, and do send any early reports our way.
