Now, Forager, a new indie film about a husband and wife team of NYC mushroom foragers, is currently screening at various festivals and indie theaters across the country. There is mushroom drama and restaurant cooking and the sad, sad love of indie movies. Also, according to Roger Ebert, while foraging, the husband "meets a couple of Russian mushroom hunters with machetes, who suggest he hand over his mushroom basket."
