After months of delays, Terrance Brennan's Picholine will actually reopen tonight. Back in July, the 20-year-old restaurant announced that it would undergo a major renovation to give the dining room a "more contemporary look." But a summer of set-backs (a partner left the restaurant, the landlord demanded $189,000 in back rent) caused Brennan to postpone the monster overhaul in favor of a fresh coat of paint.
The remainder of the renovations will be done in phases starting in January, but don't expect the restaurant to be closed for more than a week at a time.
