Gabe and Tien to Open Montmartre in Chelsea

Gabe Stulman and Tien Ho

Last month, restaurateur Gabe Stulman announced plans to open a French-American bistro with former Ma Peche chef Tien Ho. This news almost melted the food internets. Tien is a talented chef that's been out of the game for over a year, and Gabe is on fire right now, so this promises to be a very exciting opening, indeed.

Today, Flo Fab reports that the new project will be called Montmartre, and it will open somewhere in Chelsea next year. Although Stulman has not announced the exact address yet, there was a rumor floating around last year that Tien was scoping out spaces for a French bistro on 10th Avenue. Before he debuts Montmartre, Stulman will open Chez Sardine in the West Village with Fedora chef Mehdi Brunet-Benkritly.
