A Look Back at 10 Years of Burger Joint

New, 6 comments

Welcome to 10 Years In, a feature in which Eater sits down for a chat with the chefs and owners of beloved NYC restaurants celebrating their ten year anniversary.

Today is the 10-year anniversary of Burger Joint, the perpetually packed hamburger stand behind the big red curtain in the lobby of Le Parker Meridien hotel. The Burger Joint menu has stayed almost exactly the same since day one, and the restaurant still serves one of the best hamburgers in NYC. Hit play on the video above for a brief history of the restaurant from Le Parker Meridien president Steven Pipes. And if you want a taste of this classic NYC burger, remember that Burger Joint is offering everything on the menu at 2002 prices all day.
