Ed's Lobster Bar Annex Space Hits the Market

New, 2 comments

There's been a serious glut of lobster and/or clam shacks opening up on the Lower East Side lately, but here's one that's going the opposite direction: the Clinton Street location of Ed's Lobster Bar, officially known as Ed's Lobster Bar Annex, has hit the market. The Lo-Down notices that there's now a listing up for the 2,000 square foot space, which includes two bars and a backyard, asking $265,000.

The LES Ed's Lobster Bar opened last summer as an offshoot (hence the name "annex") of the popular location on Lafayette Street. The Lo-Down notes that it's never been very busy, and with the arrival of several new restaurants on the block like Pig & Khao and Yunnan Kitchen, the owners may be "testing the waters" to see if something else comes up.
