Over the weekend, Marcus Samuelsson opened a restaurant with a very long name. (The official title: American Table Cafe and Bar by Marcus Samuelsson.) This new project occupies a window-lined space in the southeast corner of Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, and it's open to everyone from 10:30 a.m.- 11 p.m, daily. Although many of the dishes are riffs on American classics (country ham biscuits, lobster roll), the menu also includes a few unusual fusion items like a scallop sausage with curry, and doro wat tacos. Marcus created the menu along with his culinary partner in crime Nils Norén, but chef Charlene Johnson-Hadley will be running the day-to-day operations here.

To drink, the bar offers a full list of beer, wine, and cocktails. The menu is moderately priced by theater-restaurant standards — all the dishes are under $20, and drinks are all around $13. Take a look at the menu below.
