Papa John's Receipt Calls Customer 'Lady Chinky Eyes'

Earlier today, Minhee Cho, the Communications Manager at ProPublica, tweeted, "Hey @PapaJohns just FYI my name isn't 'lady chinky eyes,'" along with this photo of the receipt she received last night. Sadly, this news comes just one month after a Chick-fil-A in California was also busted for serving customers racist receipts. Maybe Papa John's can take a break from giving away pizzas, and offer this customer an apology.

We were extremely concerned to learn of the receipt issue in New York. This act goes against our company values, and we've confirmed with the franchisee that this matter was addressed immediately and that the employee is being terminated. We are truly sorry for this customer's experience.
