If cooking one of el bulli's family meals sounds a little daunting, how about trying one of the staff meals at the more accessible Union Square Cafe? Or Gramercy Tavern, Maialino, and Untitled? This fall chef Michael Romano, the corporate chef for Danny Meyer's stable of restaurants, is putting out a book of family meals from all of his restaurants, including it seems, one Meyer no longer owns and one that hasn't (at least not yet) opened.
