Opening Alert

New, 4 comments

2012_1_ihopharlem.jpgA new IHOP just opened on 126th Street in East Harlem, and it's the first of the chain's locations in the country to install a 24-hour takeout window shielded in bulletproof glass. After 11:30 PM, customers can only get their flapjacks and sausages via a Lazy Susan, and at least one local resident is calling the move disrespectful while another thinks it will invite more trouble.
