Some updates on a few January debuts: Floyd Cardoz's North End Grill in Battery Park City is not opening today as originally planned but should open sometime next week. The East Village's Vancouver import Japadog is now set to open on January 5. And Mathieu Palombino's Bowery Diner is slated for "later this month" but they haven't nailed down a date yet. [EaterWire]
