1) Williamsburg: Roving photographer Will Femia notices that there's a notice up on the back of the old Planet Thai space, the Berry Street side. A restaurant called Antica Pesa is hoping to open at 115 Berry St. with a sidewalk cafe. [PLYWOOD]

2) Tribeca: Tribeca Citizen learns that the building currently holding Brite Buy Wine & Spirits at 11 6th Avenue at Franklin Street is going to be torn down. A restaurant will open in the new building. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

3) Upper East Side: Bowery Boogie notices that East Village restaurant Rectangles on 1st Avenue and 74th has closed. It will be replaced by a new branch of the mini pizza chain Numero 28. [PLYWOOD]

4) Park Slope: Here's Park Slope offers some photos inside and some new detail on the 20-seat barbecue joint opening up in Park Slope, Reno Provisions. [POST-PLYWOOD]

5) Prospect Heights: TONY reports on the opening next weekend of 606 R&D, a new Prospect Heights restaurant from a couple of longtime alums of City Bakery. They'll serve "simple, homespun fare, such as carrot-parsnip pancakes, Faicco's broccoli rabe sausage with a celery-root mash, and rotisserie chicken with watercress, yogurt, lemon and toast." 6) Flatiron: Grub Street learns that a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant called Hummus and Pita Co. will open on 6th Ave. and 17th Street on February 9. [PLYWOOD]
