Southern Hospitality BBQ's Chris Russell Loves Gradisca

New York City is home to a lot of restaurants, and among them are hidden gems some New Yorkers just aren't unearthing. To help guide us to these potential discoveries, we've enlisted some of our city's many food luminaries to share with us their under the radar recommendations for Dining Confidential.

"This under the radar, neighborhood gem is a MUST for Italian lovers. Located on a charming block in the West Village Gradisca is more than pleasing. The staff is almost entirely Italian and they have a good grasp on the menu and wine list. Some stand out items are the Pecorino crusted Sea Scallops with Fava Bean Puree, the pork filet with peaches and goat cheese Fondue and the ever popular, creamy Lobster Tagliolini. Save room for their delicious semifreddo or Tiramisu. It's great for special occasions, family gatherings or a romantic evening out."
