Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are five choice dining events going on around the city:

Where: 242 10th Avenue
When: All weekend
What: This stylish Chelsea restaurant is now serving a traditional Swiss winter meal of pork parts and charcuterie, along with sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, and condiments. The feast can be ordered family-style or as an individual plate for $26. Reservations recommended.

Where: 1 East 15th Street
When: All weekend
What: In addition to their regular offerings, Tocqueville is now serving a menu of dishes paired with wines from the Masi winery in Venice. The four-course meal includes charred and stuffed calamari, roasted leg of partridge, and braised beef cheeks. With wine pairings, this special dinner is $135. Reservations recommended.

Where: 31 W 17th St
When: Sunday, 5 - 9 PM
What: George Mendes's excellent contemporary Portuguese restaurant is launching Sunday dinner service this weekend. The kitchen will be serving a $65 five-course menu and a $95 eight-course menu. Call ahead to make reservations.

Where: 79 North 11th St.
When: Sunday, Noon - 5 PM
What: Smorgasburg's pared-down winter market returns to the Brooklyn Brewery this Sunday. This week's vendor lineup includes: Brooklyn Bean Co., Commerce Bakery, Empire Mayo, Sauce by Nature, and Smore Bakery. Admission is free, but you have to pay for the food and beer.

When: All weekend
What: If you're looking for a place to eat this weekend, do check out the recently updated Eater Heap Map, a guide to where the foodie crowds are flocking to at the moment. A slew of promising new restaurants opened in the last few weeks, including Pok Pok Wing, North End Grill, and the revamped Acme, all of which are included on the map.
