The Wayland to Open Friday in Banjo Jim's Space

New, 1 comment

The Wayland, a new Avenue C cocktail bar and music venue, will open in the former Banjo Jim's space this Friday. They'll offer a slew of cocktails made with housemade bitters, jams, and syrups, and will serve a menu of oysters, bone marrow, steak tartar, and smoked trout (full menus below).

The design, created by the two owners and those Brooklyn twins that designed the likes of Paulie Gee's and Goat Town, was put together with antique finds and dumpster diving, reps say, resulting in a "country cottage aesthetic." What else to look forward to: daily shot breaks and music sets from rock and blue grass bands. Look out for more info on their website.
