Double Seven Finally Ready To Relaunch

Don't call it a comeback but Double Seven, the cocktail lounge owned by David Rabin, Jeffrey Jah, Mark Baker and Will Regan that was forced to close several years ago after a dispute with their landlord, is finally ready to reopen. Guest of a Guest got hold of an an email invitation from Rabin inviting friends to come down and check it out during Fashion Week as they soft open and work out the kinks, something the Guesters promise "is sure to have more than a couple fashion types excited." As Rachel Zoe would say, bananas. Anyway, it will be interesting to see how the space is received since it's been so long since the original Double Seven closed and the nightlife scene is now full of lounges and short on large clubs that dominated the landscape at the time. It's open for previews every night this week at 9 PM except Saturday, when it will open at 2 AM. Set your watches for go!
