Koch Brothers to Take Brunch Parties to a New Level

Daniel and Derek Kock (the other Koch brothers) are getting psyched up for the launch of their new brunch party at Anja (the former Buddha Bar) and they want you to get psyched for it to! So what is there to get psyched up for? D&D say that they spent the summer in the south of France to "develop a full picture of what is missing in New York and what needs to be introduced this season" and say "the amount of knowledge we left with is endless". Not to nitpick, but they also spent a portion of the summer in the Hamptons throwing these brunch parties and we're pretty sure that whatever knowledge they left the south of France with is limited to throwing cheesy brunch parties. With that being said, Eater has a little birdie inside the Koch brothers enterprise and got a sneak peak at some of the innovations they are planning for the new party.

According to our Little Birdie, the newest edition of the Day and Night brunch will feature girls in short dresses and guys in collard shirts drinking copious amounts of rose wine and possibly regular Champagne while dancing (poorly) to very loud house music. Dancing will not only happen on the dance floor, but is also very likely to happen on the banquettes. The Koch brothers are also working on an ingenious scheme to equip the waitresses with sparklers that will be lit whenever someone orders more than one bottle of Champagne.

The Day and Night parties begin at Anja this Saturday and will continue on forever.
