561 Columbus Avenue, UWS
Status: Certified Open
Glory, glory, hallelujah, this is the moment the Upper West Side has been waiting for: the Columbus Avenue location of David Chang and Christina Tosi's Momofuku Milk Bar is now open. The official Milk Bar Twitter account shared this image from yesterday morning — clearly, people couldn't wait to get their hands on those compost cookies, cake balls, and pork buns.
The menu is the same as at the other three locations: soft serve, truffles, cookies, pies by the slice, croissants, cornbread, bagel bombs, coffee, flavored milks, and veggie and pork buns. The space features high ceilings, big windows in front, and the classic Milk Bar neon sign along one wall. A tipster reported that the buns sold out in a flash yesterday, but that the Milk Bar team was working hard to replenish the stock. Just something to keep in mind here: Momo Milk Bar UWS is strategically located just one block away from Central Park.
