Welcome back to Sound Bites, an Eater original video feature in which footage of the city's most badass chefs crafting their signature dishes is paired with tunes from up-and-coming musicians. Regarding the volume: turn it up.
For this edition of Sound Bites, Ciano chef Shea Gallante makes an incredible looking saffron lobster raviolo, with parsley puree, pickled summer herbs, and tomato-lobster jus. He explains of the dish, "My inspiration for the dish is the end of summer. I wanted to prolong the season a bit more. The dish is light and simple, in both the ingredients and the prep."
Providing the tunes this time around is cool as hell Brooklyn band Invisible Days. Their song Solitary Time is available for free here.
