Newly Renovated Joe's Pub to Reopen on October 4

Over the summer downtown music venue Joe's Pub closed for a mega renovation led by restaurant and nightlife maven Serge Becker. Now that fall is officially here, the owners are readying for its big new debut. As mentioned in last week's community board coverage, they're shortening the bar and moving it to make more concert seating, seen in the rendering above. And co-owner Josh Pickard tells Eater that there will also be improved sightlines, larger restrooms, and a new entrance (now found in the lobby of the Public Theater). The venue will be fully seated, and the menu remains the same as before.
