Macaron Mania Still Going Strong at Maison Ladurée

Three weeks after the grand opening of Maison Ladurée, the cultishly loved iconic Parisian macaron shop that has just now expanded stateside, the frenzy has yet to dissipate. The line was an hour long on opening day and it was an hour long when the Post's resident crank and restaurant and real estate buff Steve Cuozzo stopped by yesterday morning. Given those little colorful pastries run about $3 a pop, it shouldn't be long before the Frenchies solidify the previously mentioned plans to expand to Soho.
