Here's your very first uber-plywooded exclusive (MUST CREDIT EATER) look at the counter/bar of Parm, the sandwich shop and restaurant from the team behind Torrisi Italian Specialties. Shooting for an opening in late September/early October, the new space will house all of Torrisi's lunch operations and will offer an expanded menu upon what's currently on offer, plus antipasti, hot plated dishes, cocktails, dinner, and dessert.
While Team Torrisi builds Parm, they'll be doing a minor facelift over at the original restaurant, closing the place down for seven to ten days at the end of the month to alter the sandwich counter. When they reopen, they'll offer an additional 12 - 15 course tasting menu and a possible new pricing scheme. And in the meantime, starting today, chefs Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi will serve BBQ spare ribs at the San Gennaro festival.
