While the recipes are not necessarily for the novice — some, particularly the layer cakes, have several sub-recipes — they are on the whole significantly more approachable than, say David Chang's Momofuku Cookbook, which famously features a 48-hour recipe for short ribs. Expect compost cookies at office functions and potlucks after its release on October 25. [Eater National]
