2011_dos_toros_opening_alert1.jpgBrothers Leo and Oliver Kremer opened their third location of Dos Toros earlier today on the Upper East Side, a neighborhood that is starved for good, cheap, fast Mexican food that's not Chipotle. The menu at this new outpost is the same as at their two downtown branches, with burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and platos all priced under $8. There's also chips, salsa, sodas, and a few Mexican beers in cans and bottles.

The space on Lexington Ave near 77th Street seats about 20, and it looks a lot like the original location — there's exposed brick, wooden tables and benches, and a big front window out onto the street. Dos Toros UES will be open for lunch and dinner daily, with an 11 PM closing time on the weekends.
